Shelter Training is technical training which aims to improve technical capability in the shelter sector through offering standard, modular, and basic training in support of transitional settlement and reconstruction operations.

This training is consistent with IASC ESC and IFRC technical training, which were also developed by Shelter Centre.

This section of the website holds a resource of training materials and information about the next Shelter Training event run by Shelter Centre. Other training courses relevant to humanitarian shelter are listed in the Training section of Sector Events.

Training is consistent with technical training both of the Emergency Shelter Cluster of the Inter-Agency Standing Committee and of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, which were also developed by Shelter Centre.
