I am a chartered structural engineer. I have worked with Engineers Without Borders UK in various capacities since 2001, including as managing director and as trustee. I worked with Shelter Centre to establish the EWB-UK placements with Shelter Centre. I now have good experience of structural engineering and have good knowledge of the shelter sector. I am keen to find a way in which my skills will be useful to the humanitarian sector and am looking for my first deployment.
