Presentations from Shelter Meeting 11b

All the presentations from the Shelter Meeting 11b are now available for download.

This biannual global sector forum was hosted in Geneva by IOM, CAGI and the Geneva Press Club on 1st and 2nd November.

Shelter Meeting 11b involved participation in Geneva and online from over 20 countries by representatives from 73 different agencies, including 3 donors, 4 IASC Clusters, 5 United Nations bodies, 1 International Organisation, 5 Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, 34 International NGOs, 23 independent consultants and 6 academic institutions. The leads of the IASC Clusters offered updates.

Remote presentations were given from India, Japan, Kenya, Pakistan, Uk and USA.

The Shelter Meeting 11b also hosted the Advisory Group meeting of the CORE Workshops, the next of which will be held in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, 12 - 16 December 2011. Applications for places should be sent to workshops@sheltercentre.org. 

Final arrangements are being made for 5 further CORE Workshops in the first quarter of 2012 in Australia, Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Myanmar and the Philippines
